Lycia Naff's illustrious career in Hollywood commenced with a leading role as a dancer on the iconic television series, Fame, in 1982. This initial opportunity paved the way for her to transition into acting, and it was then that the acting bug took hold. Following three seasons on "Fame", Lycia went on to star in a variety of stage productions, including "Closely Related" at the Southcoast Repertory Theatre, where she received an Honorable Mention award from the Los Angeles Times.
Thirteen years later, Lycia temporarily put her acting career on hold after receiving an Emmy Award nomination for Best Performance in a TV movie for her starring role in The Perfect Date, which premiered in 1990. During this hiatus, Lycia pursued a career in journalism, working for top-tier newspapers and magazines, including the Miami Herald and People Magazine.
Currently, Lycia is a proud owner of two white bunnies, Stinky and Walter, and dedicates her time to writing for national magazines and acting in national commercials based in Los Angeles. In 2005, she made a triumphant return to the stage with a production at the Actor's Playpen in Hollywood. Additionally, Lycia is an active member of the "Open At The Top Theatre Company" at the NOHO Arts Center.
