Lucy Anne Treadway was born on March 15th in Cincinnati, Ohio, and spent her formative years immersed in a rich cultural heritage, boasting a unique blend of Irish, Persian, French, and German ancestry. As she entered adulthood, Lucy's passion for the performing arts led her to relocate to New York City at the tender age of 18 to attend The American Musical and Dramatic Academy (AMDA),where she honed her craft for four years.
Upon completing her education, Lucy made the bold decision to trade in the bright lights of the Big Apple for the sun-kissed streets of Los Angeles, driven by an insatiable desire to pursue a career in acting. However, it was during this period that she discovered a newfound talent for writing and producing, which would ultimately become the foundation of her successful career.
Lucy's creative endeavors soon found her acting in a variety of projects, including a live comedy show alongside the talented Tiffany Haddish, a parody featuring the comedic genius of Kevin Farley, and a comedy she wrote and directed, starring the renowned Ken Davitian from the hit film "Borat".
In addition to her acting pursuits, Lucy's entrepreneurial spirit led her to create and produce her own projects, including scripted comedies, dramas, docu-series, and even a kids' cartoon. This innovative approach to content creation soon caught the attention of industry giants, and she found herself partnering with The Weinstein Company to develop the docu-series "Welcome To Myrtle Manor", which premiered on the TLC Network and ran for three seasons.
In 2013, Lucy directed and produced a documentary exploring the heroin epidemic in the Midwest, which she sold to Soledad O'Brien's company Starfish Media. The film, titled "Heroin USA: A Soledad O'Brien Special", aired on the Aljazeera Network in 2016, showcasing Lucy's dedication to shedding light on pressing social issues.
The following year, Lucy created and executive produced the docu-series "Kart Life", partnering with Bodega Pictures, which premiered on Tru TV in early 2015. This impressive portfolio of work cemented Lucy's reputation as a visionary producer and content creator.
