Lucy Martin is a talented British actress, renowned for her captivating portrayal of Ingrid in the History channel's critically acclaimed TV drama, Vikings. Her impressive acting skills were also showcased in the TV series Riviera, where she played the role of Penny. Moreover, she is set to star in three feature films scheduled for release later this year.
Born in Solihull, West Midlands, Lucy is the third of four children, with her father hailing from Scotland and her mother from England. She attended a local secondary school in Knowle until the age of 16, after which she was awarded a scholarship to pursue her passion for the performing arts at Tring Park school.
At 17, Lucy made her professional debut in the London's West End production of 'Dirty Dancing'. She then went on to tour the world with the hit musical 'Mamma Mia' and returned to the West End at 21 to play the role of Lorraine in 'Jersey Boys'.
After establishing herself as a skilled dancer and singer, Lucy shifted her focus to acting, landing her first TV role as Penny in the series 'Riviera'. Shortly thereafter, she was offered the part of Ingrid in the TV series Vikings. Following her stint on Vikings, Lucy has appeared in three feature films, all of which are set to be released in 2021.
