Person Biography:
Logan Wildey, born in Santa Cruz, California, started showcasing his creativity at a young age. His parents recognized his knack for entertaining and making people laugh with ease. At the age of 10, he received a video camera, which propelled his creativity to new heights. He began writing and directing short films, often involving friends and family members in his projects. This hobby quickly transformed into a versatile talent, earning him the nickname "movie kid" throughout the neighborhood.
By the age of 20, Logan had already produced over 15 short films. He decided to enroll in Monterey Peninsula College to study drama and film, further developing his skills and building upon his existing talents. After college, he worked on a few full-length films and extra projects with other directors and writers, focusing on his acting abilities. Although several of the films he contributed to never made it to the screen, Logan remained dedicated to his craft.
At the age of 26, Logan decided to write his own script and get it published. After getting it syndicated, he presented it to big-name industry professionals, but nobody was interested. Undeterred, he continued to hone his writing and performing skills, eventually taking a break from film to pursue stand-up comedy in the Bay Area. He performed at various notable comedy clubs, including The San Jose Improv, Rooster T. Feathers, and The Purple Onion.
After three years of stand-up comedy, Logan began incorporating short films and music videos into his resume. He launched a YouTube channel to feature his ideas and continued to perform stand-up comedy. He also expanded his skills by training at the Bay Area Acting Studio under the Sanford Meisner technique and participating in live Improv shows produced by the studio.
In 2015, Logan starred in a film he wrote, co-produced, and starred in alongside big-name actor Jeffrey Weissman, who is best known for his role in the original Back to the Future sequels 2 and 3. The film, titled "Back to the Future?", offered a comedic take on what would justify the current future as opposed to the original Back to the Future part 2 film's view. The film was submitted to and accepted into several festivals across the country, including those in Florida, LA, and on a Back to the Future cruise with Michael J. Fox and the original cast.
Today, Logan is living in Los Angeles as a represented actor and member of SAG-AFTRA. He has furthered his training by attending Groundlings and UCB classes, as well as attending method acting and voice-over classes. Logan continues to perform stand-up comedy and maintain his YouTube channel, but is now focusing primarily on securing bigger roles in the entertainment industry.
