Elizabeth Newcomer, a highly accomplished individual, earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts with Honors in Theatre from the prestigious Tisch School of the Arts at New York University. She then furthered her education by obtaining a Master of Fine Arts in Theatre from the University of California, San Diego.
Elizabeth's professional journey began with an Off-Broadway production at the Atlantic Theater Company, where she made her debut in the world premiere of Howard Korder's "Sea of Tranquility" alongside the talented Dylan Baker.
In 2015, Elizabeth returned to her hometown of New Orleans, where she has since achieved numerous career highlights. One of her most notable accomplishments was acting alongside the late Chadwick Boseman in the blockbuster film "Black Panther," which earned her a Screen Actors Guild Award for Best Ensemble.
Additionally, Elizabeth has starred alongside her real-life husband, Michael A. Newcomer, in the film "Breaking News in Yuba County." The couple has two sons, Valentine and Romeo, and together they founded their own theatre company, Crescent City Stage.
In addition to her acting and directing work, Elizabeth is also a Certified Enneagram Teacher and Coach, and she teaches acting and shares her expertise with others.
