Lisa's life story began in Portland, Oregon, where she took her first breath, and her formative years were spent in the Seattle area. At the tender age of nine, she made her debut as a playwright, director, and performer in her very first play, thus igniting a lifelong passion for the craft. From that moment on, she was hooked, and her journey as a thespian was underway.
Lisa's training in Seattle took place at the prestigious Cornish Professional Acting Conservatory, where she refined her skills and honed her craft. For many years, she was a stalwart presence in the Seattle fringe and professional theatre scene, perfecting her art and building a reputation as a talented and dedicated performer.
Throughout this period, Lisa balanced her demanding schedule with the equally important responsibilities of motherhood. She raised her twin sons alongside her husband, Bill, and transitioned to film and television, working on notable locally produced series such as Grimm and ZNation.
As her children grew older and eventually left the nest, Lisa made the bold decision to relocate to Los Angeles, thus setting the stage for a new chapter in her career. Today, she is proud to count herself among the esteemed ranks of working actors in Hollywood.
When not treading the boards or captivating audiences on screen, Lisa pursues her passion for Qigong, serving as an instructor and sharing the benefits of this ancient practice with others. She is also an unapologetic advocate for environmental conservation, and her love for trees is matched only by her enthusiasm for the natural world.
