Lena is a multifaceted actor and singer who has recently relocated to Austin, Texas, after spending the past 15 years in Los Angeles, California, and New York City.
Throughout her career, she has had the privilege of collaborating with an impressive array of talented individuals, including Grammy Award winners Eric Whitacre and Hila Plitman, Oscar nominee Sally Kellerman, SAG award winner Shea Whigham, Drama Desk Award winner Andrea Burns, Ovation nominees David O and Greg Chun, and many others.
As a vocalist, Lena has had the opportunity to perform with esteemed ensembles, such as the Fort Worth Symphonic Chorus, which has shared the stage with the Dallas Symphony Orchestra at the Meyerson Symphony Hall and the New York City Pops at Carnegie Hall. She has also lent her voice to the Angel Chorus for the choral presentation of Paradise Lost: Shadows and Wings at the Disney Concert Hall and was part of the world premiere of the same musical at Theatre @ Boston Court, which received 10 Ovation Award nominations.
In addition to her work in musical theater, Lena has performed in two world premiere musicals at the Kirk Douglas Theatre: A Very Old Man with Enormous Wings and The Very Persistent Gappers of Frip. Her extensive experience in national and regional commercials has also showcased her versatility as a performer.
Lena has honed her craft through studies with renowned instructors, including The Groundlings (improv),Georgia Stitt (musical theatre),Rick Wasserman and Debi Derryberry (voice over),Anne-Lynn Kettles (Meisner/Hagen),Margaret "Peggy" Loft (Linklater),Margie Haber (on-camera),Lyle Kanouse (on-camera),and Gerald White (sight reading). She is currently studying voice with Zeffin Quinn Hollis.
As a voice over artist, Lena is actively working in the industry, and she also sings with various groups around Austin.
