Not one to ever allow himself to be confined by conventional expectations, Jourdan has consistently pushed the boundaries of storytelling, defying the norms of what a young black writer typically creates.
During his time in Bangkok, Thailand, Jourdan had the opportunity to collaborate with producer Michael Scott on two projects, The Mark and The Mark II, which boasted an impressive cast including Academy Award Nominee Eric Roberts, Craig Sheffer, and Sonia Couling. Additionally, while residing in Asia, Jourdan penned several other projects that are currently in various stages of development.
One of these projects, titled MORE, gained recognition as an official selection in the 2013 Beverly Hills Film Festival's Screenplay Competition.
Jourdan's academic background is marked by his graduation from California State University Northridge's esteemed Creative Writing program, where he concurrently pursued a minor in Business. Today, he resides in Houston, Texas.
