Lela Ivey, a renowned veteran of the stage and screen, was born on June 26, 1958, in the vibrant city of New York. This accomplished actress has spent her career honing her craft, initially graduating from The American Academy of Dramatic Arts in NYC.
For a quarter of a century, Ivey navigated the entertainment industry, securing supporting and bit part roles in television, film, and theatre productions. Her impressive theatre resume boasts a range of notable performances, including "The Waiting Room" at the Mark Taper Forum, for which she received a Los Angeles Ovation Award nomination.
Additionally, her stage credits include "The Marriage of Bette and Boo" at the Los Angeles Theatre Center, earning her a Los Angeles Drama-Logue Award nomination.
