Biography

Jung-Jae Lee is a multifaceted individual, excelling in both the entertainment and fashion industries as a prominent film and television star, as well as a successful fashion model.

In 1993, Lee made his television debut, and just one year later, he was cast in his first film, a feature directed by renowned filmmaker Bae Chang-ho.

It wasn't until late 1998 that Lee's breakthrough came, starring in the award-winning film "An Affair" directed by E-J Yong, which earned him critical acclaim and recognition.

This success was followed by another notable performance in the film "City of the Rising Sun," for which Lee received the Best Actor award at the domestic Chungryong Awards ceremony.

In 2000, Lee starred in the Korean-Japanese coproduction "Asako in Ruby Shoes," which was released in December of that year.

The following year, Lee found significant popularity in the melodrama "Last Present," opposite Lee Young-ae, and in the action/mystery/drama "The Last Witness," directed by Bae Chang-ho.

Moreover, Lee is scheduled to appear in an international coproduction to be shot in Korea and directed by renowned Chinese filmmaker Chen Kaige.
