Lee Byung-hun, a South Korean actor born in 1970 in Seoul, South Korea, grew up in a wealthy family due to his father's successful business endeavors. Despite never having a desire to pursue acting, a friend of his mother's suggested it, which led him to audition for the KBS television network in 1991 and get accepted. His first project was the short-lived TV series "Asphalt My Hometown".
