Laurent Maurel, a multifaceted individual, has led a life of cultural diversity, having grown up in Tahiti, Morocco, Djibouti, and Reunion Island.
Maurel's journey as an actor began in France, where he trained at The National Drama School of E.N.S.A.T.T (Paris),and later in London at MiddleSex University, earning a BA in Acting.
His impressive filmography includes being one of the main characters in the feature "The Well", which represented Algeria at The Oscars 2017. He also received a nomination for "Best Newcomer Actor" at the Moulins French Festival in 2012 for his role in "La Dernière Caravane".
Television has also been a significant platform for Maurel, with upcoming appearances in the next season of "Doctor Who" and other projects for the BBC. His stage work has been recognized with a nomination for "Best Newcomer Actor" by the Souffleur French Association for his performance in "The Lord of the Flies".
Maurel's versatility extends to voice-over work, where he has lent his voice to notable actors such as M. Fassbender, James Franco, and D. Fogler. He is also a skilled singer, having recently performed in the French version of Monty Python's "Spamalot".
