Lauren McNamara, a talented Canadian actress, embarked on her acting journey at the tender age of nine, commencing with commercials. Her first booking was for Coldwell Banker, swiftly followed by a significant international commercial for Tourism Jamaica. The experience of filming in Jamaica for nine days sparked a deep passion within her, convincing her that acting was the career path she was destined to pursue.
As her confidence grew, Lauren transitioned seamlessly into the realm of film and television, landing a notable role in Lifetime's "A Sister's Nightmare" alongside a talented cast, including Peyton List, Natasha Hentsridge, and Kelly Rutherford.
Lauren's most recent endeavor is starring in "Aliens Ate My Homework", a book series penned by renowned author Bruce Coville and directed by Sean McNamara, set to be released by Universal Pictures in 2018. Her impressive resume also boasts supporting lead roles in Hallmark Channel's "Falling For Vermont", scheduled for release in September 2017, as well as Hallmark Channel's "Summer of Dreams". Moreover, Lauren has made a notable appearance as Sherry in an episode of the Canadian series "Aftermath", alongside James Tupper.
