Biography

Lauren Francesca is a YouTube superstar with an impressive online presence, boasting over 2 billion views. Her acting credits include appearances on 20/20, Tosh.0, O'Reilly Factor, FOX News, TruTV's Funniest Moments, Comedy Central, and more. Entertainment Weekly hailed her "Lady Gaga Telephone Parody" as the "funniest Internet phenomenon of the moment". With a massive following of over 2 million on Facebook and 3 million total, Lauren has established herself as a household name.

Born and raised in Queens, New York, Lauren grew up in a family of award-winning Broadway performers. At New York Tech, she excelled academically, serving as President of both the Honor Society and The Women's Association, and graduating Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Pre-Med Biology.

After college, Lauren focused on acting, honing her skills at the Upright Citizens Brigade (UCB). This led to her breakout role in the hit web series "The Key of Awesome", which in turn landed her appearances on 20/20, a role in an FX pilot, and a national AT&T campaign. She also starred in numerous viral hit videos for College Humor, Funny or Die, Totally Sketch, and Bo Burnham, earning the praise of Tubefilter as "a chameleon of parody, morphing from pop-sexy to nerdy-cute almost effortlessly".

Lauren has continued to make waves in the entertainment industry, appearing in Netflix's top comedy "Bad Parents" and starring in three upcoming independent films: Muck, Lucky Number, and Catskill Park. As a producer, she has helped produce digital projects sold to BET, Comedy Central, and Stars, and has sold licenses for her viral video clips worldwide. Her short film was accepted into the Cannes Film Festival, and her original show concept "Like Me" (co-authored by Sideways writer Rex Pickett) was selected for the "Just for Laughs" pitch competition.

Lauren has also worked as an influencer with AT&T, Comedy Central, FOX, and Universal, and has been crowd-funding features, producing eight films in the last two years, directing the last three.
