László Kovács, a renowned cinematographer, came into this world on May 14, 1933, in the charming town of Cece, Hungary, which is situated in the heart of the beautiful Central European country.
Throughout his illustrious career, Kovács left an indelible mark on the world of cinema, being associated with some of the most iconic and groundbreaking films of all time, including the 1969 classic, Easy Rider, the 1970 masterpiece, Five Easy Pieces, the 1984 supernatural comedy, Ghostbusters, and the 1995 thriller, Copycat.
His exceptional talent and dedication to his craft were duly recognized by the American Society of Cinematographers, who bestowed upon him the prestigious Lifetime Achievement Award in the year 2002.
