Lali Gonzalez, born Graciela Belen Gonzalez Mendoza on December 27, 1986, in Asuncion, Paraguay, is a talented actress who has made a name for herself in the entertainment industry. After graduating from theatre school El Estudio in 2010, she began her career with a role in the second episode of the Paraguayan television series La Herencia de Cain.
Her breakthrough role came in 2012 with the film 7 Boxes, where she played the character Liz. The film was nominated for the 27th Edition of the Goya Awards in the category of Best Foreign Film in Spanish. Following this success, Lali appeared in a number of Latin American films, including Reading by Justino, El Hijo Buscado, Luna de cigarras, Mangoré, Revenge Strategy, and A Place in the Caribbean.
In addition to her film work, Lali has also appeared in television series. One of her most notable roles was in the Argentinian film El jugador, which was released on Netflix in July 2018. This made Lali the first Paraguayan actress to feature on the popular streaming platform.
In 2021, Lali starred in the successful Argentinian TV series La 1-5/18, earning her a nomination for the prestigious Martín Fierro Awards in the category of Leading Actress in Fiction.
