LaDon Drummond is a renowned actress and screenwriter who has made a significant impact in the entertainment industry. Born and raised in Texas, she pursued her passion for the performing arts by graduating with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theatre from Texas State University. In 1994, she took the bold step of moving to Los Angeles to pursue a career in Hollywood.
Her journey in the industry began with a role in the CBS mini-series "The Siege at Ruby Ridge", directed by the acclaimed Roger Young. Throughout the late 1990s, LaDon appeared on various TV shows, including "Days of Our Lives", "The Practice", and "Any Day Now". She continued to hone her craft by performing on various stages in Los Angeles.
In 2001, LaDon received critical acclaim for her leading role in "Flirting With Morty", at The Company of Angels. The late, great Mr. Blackwell praised her performance, stating, "I was completely overcome by LaDon Drummond's performance as Baby and I guarantee that she will become a major star very soon. There were times I thought of Lana Turner."
LaDon's personal life took a significant turn in 2002 when she met Italian director/writer, Giorgio Serafini. They tied the knot in 2004 and went on to form a production company, West Arts, in 2007. Their first collaboration was the short film "War", written by Giorgio, in which LaDon played a US soldier in Iraq. The film was selected for numerous festivals and can be found as a feature on the DVD of "The Good War", starring Roy Schieder.
In 2008, the couple was on location in Torino, Italy, where Giorgio was directing an Italian television series, "Il Bene e il male". On June 4th, LaDon's birthday, she gave birth to their son, Johnny Sinclair.
LaDon and Giorgio's production company, West Arts, has produced several award-winning films, including "Johnny's Gone" in 2010 and "Sin Fronteras/Without Borders" in 2014. LaDon was awarded Best Actress and Best Screenplay for her work on "Johnny's Gone", which toured the festival circuit worldwide and received eight awards and four nominations.
LaDon and Giorgio reside in Los Angeles with their son, Johnny, who is also an actor.
