Kyra Elise Gardner is a renowned American director, celebrated for her captivating cinematic endeavors, including the productions of The Dollhouse (2017),Inked (2018),and Phoebe (2019),the latter of which garnered her the prestigious DGA Award for Best Female Student Director, presented at a ceremony held at the Director's Guild of America in New York.
Kyra Gardner's documentary, The Dollhouse, made its global premiere at the esteemed FrightFest Film Festival in London, England, preceding the world premiere of Universal's Cult of Chucky. Furthermore, Universal Studios featured her short documentary as a bonus feature on the DVD/Blu-ray release of Cult of Chucky, as well as on every subsequent release in the franchise since.
Kyra's inaugural short film, Past Presence, was one of eight student films selected for the 39th Annual Cleveland International Film Festival's "First Time Film-maker's" Division, with writer-director Kyra Gardner, at the tender age of 16, making her the youngest participant in the festival's history.
