Kyle Kuchta, a talented and innovative filmmaker, hails from New London, Connecticut. His passion for the craft began during his teenage years, when he was involved with Southeastern Connecticut Filmmakers (SECT),laying the groundwork for a successful career in the industry.
Kuchta's academic pursuits took him to Syracuse University's College of Visual and Performing Arts, where he studied film and honed his skills. Upon graduating, he made the bold move to Los Angeles, where he worked as an assistant director on various projects for esteemed organizations such as Screen Junkies, Nerdist, Megaforce Records, and others.
However, Kuchta's journey took a turn in 2017, when he returned to his hometown of New London, Connecticut. It was here that he completed his second feature film, "Survival Of The Film Freaks," in collaboration with OTC Industries. The film received widespread recognition, premiering at the Knoxville Horror Film Festival, Sin City Horror Fest, and Shawna Shea Film Festival, among others, and earning awards along the way.
Currently, Kuchta is busy developing his first narrative feature, while also directing shorts and music videos throughout New England.
