Kya Haywood, a talented young actor from Thomaston, Georgia, USA, was born to Keith and Heather Haywood as the youngest of their four sons. His remarkable career began at just one day old, when he landed his first print job for Upson Regional Medical Center, where his image still adorns their website today.
Starting his acting career at the tender age of six, Kya has already accumulated an impressive resume, including a supporting role in the film "The Ivy League" (2011) and a feature role in "The Way Home" (2010),alongside Dean Cain and Brett Rice. However, his breakout role to date is his starring part in the Warner Brothers film "Dogfight", where he plays Dylan Huggins alongside Hollywood heavyweights Zach Galifianakis, Will Ferrell, and Dylan McDermott.
Kya's exceptional talent did not go unnoticed by director Jay Roach and the rest of the crew, who were blown away by his extraordinary abilities. He was cast in the film and shines as one of the twin sons of Marty (Zach Galifianakis) and Mitzi (Sarah Baker),whose father is running for office.
Before making his big-screen debut, Kya honed his acting skills by performing for his family at home, putting on impromptu shows and showcasing his impressive improvisational skills. He has also been a regular fixture at the Georgia Bridal show, where he has walked the runway for four years.
In addition to his acting prowess, Kya is a multi-talented individual with skills that extend beyond the silver screen. He is an accomplished improviser, able to conjure up a wide range of character voices, and has even dabbled in stand-up comedy.
