Personal Details

Biography

Kurt Deimer's quest for order in a chaotic world is a beacon of hope in a time of great uncertainty. With a straightforward approach to life, he supports those who make his life better and strives to make theirs better in return. He believes that if everyone focused on making a positive impact and not getting bogged down by things beyond their control, the world would be a better place.

Despite his success in the business world, Deimer felt unfulfilled and so pursued his passion for music and filmmaking. Inspired by his favorite artists, he began writing song lyrics and developing a movie concept. With an inability to take no for an answer, a drive to continually improve his craft, and an insatiable desire to network and expand his Rolodex, he has made significant progress in a short amount of time.

Deimer has filmed a feature-length movie, recorded over two dozen songs with legendary producer Chris Lord-Alge, and is co-managed by Andy Gould, the former manager of Rob Zombie and Guns N' Roses. Lord-Alge, who has worked with Green Day, Joe Cocker, James Brown, and the Rolling Stones, praises Deimer's unique storytelling ability and his ability to narrate a story. Deimer's music is a reflection of his personality, and his combination of narration and singing is a unique asset.

Deimer's rendition of Pink Floyd's "Have A Cigar" is a testament to his talent, featuring a hard-rocking band led by lead guitarist and musical director Phil X, who has worked with Bon Jovi and Richie Sambora. Phil X praises Deimer's creative freedom and the ability to write music that would not have been possible without Deimer's lyrics.

The cover track is just a taste of what Deimer has to offer, and his debut EP, set for release in the fall, will introduce listeners to his world. He is a beat poet for the modern age, and his music is a reflection of his desire to make the world a better place. Deimer's message is one of hope and promise, rather than despair and hubris.

America was introduced to Kurt Deimer in the fall of 2021, when he supported Geoff Tate on a cross-country tour. Deimer's debut EP will be released on November 19, 2021, and will include a duet with Tate and a trilogy of music videos directed by Scottish filmmaker Paul Boyd.
