Person Biography:
Kriz H. Harriz is a renowned French actor born in Germany to a multi-lingual academic family with a deep passion for the fine arts, including music, drama, and painting. His parents, Dr. Gerard Henri, a respected lecturer in Philosophy and Information Technology, provided Kriz with a broad exposure to languages, literature, and various forms of art and culture from a young age.
Growing up, Kriz discovered his love for cinema and knew he wanted to be in front of the camera. At the age of 14, he made his first on-screen appearance, which marked the beginning of his journey as an artist under the alias "Kriz H Harriz."
After completing his studies, Kriz worked as a Consultant, Manager, and Creative Director before finding his niche in the entertainment industry in South Asia. He has since lived and worked between Los Angeles, Colombo, and Paris, acting in numerous US, EU, and Asian film and television productions, both in front of and behind the camera.
Kriz is best known for his award-winning performances in lead roles in television productions such as "Dhawala Kadulla," "Amarapuraya," and others. He has also acted in major Indian films like "Midnight's Children," "Robo" (Endhiran),and "Bombay Velvet," as well as making a cameo in Marvel's "Captain America: Winter Soldier" and appearing on "CSI" and other shows.
Before leaving Asia, Kriz directed a few documentaries and TV mini-series, including the reality travel show "Crossroads with Kriz Harriz." He is also a published author, releasing his book "Above of the Angels" in 2019. Currently, Kriz is focusing on production and working on several upcoming projects.
