Kristofer Hivju, a second-generation Norwegian actor, was born on December 7, 1978, in the captivating city of Oslo. As the son of esteemed actors Lieselotte Holmene and Erik Hivju, a renowned character actor who has shared the screen with his son on multiple occasions, including in the critically acclaimed short film Flax. Notably, Kristofer co-wrote the screenplay for Flax alongside director Bård Ivar Engelsås, showcasing his multifaceted talent.

Kristofer's foray into American cinema began with Matthijs van Heijningen Jr.'s 2011 prequel to John Carpenter's cult classic The Thing. His subsequent appearance in M.
