Kristin's journey in dance began at a tender age, with her passion for movement only growing stronger as she grew older. A significant turning point came when her family relocated to Massachusetts, where she discovered her niche on stage through her studies and performances with Boston Ballet and Ballet Theatre of Boston. After completing high school, Kristin joined the California Ballet Company in San Diego, where she simultaneously earned her degree from the University of California, San Diego.
It was during this period that Kristin was encouraged to explore acting, a decision that would ultimately lead her to pursue a Master of Fine Arts degree from the University of Southern California. Her first foray into acting came with a production of Jean Paul Sartre's existential classic, "No Exit," which marked the beginning of a long and illustrious career in the performing arts.
Kristin has had the privilege of working professionally with renowned directors such as Simon West, Francois Velle, Spike Jonze, Risa Bramon Garcia, Mathew Walker, Luis Alfaro, Andrei Belgrader, Lisa Wolpe, and Andrew J. Robinson. Her film debut was in the critically acclaimed movie "Being John Malkovich," in which she played a ballet dancer, a role that was a natural extension of her extensive dance training.
Interestingly, Kristin was initially approached to become the last member of the inaugural Master of Fine Arts class of 2009 at the University of Southern California, just two months prior to the start of the semester. Despite being offered a scholarship to study at Barnard College of Columbia University in New York City, Kristin declined the offer not once, but twice. The reasons behind her decision remain a mystery, but it is clear that Kristin's passion for her craft and her desire to hone her skills at USC ultimately led her to turn down the opportunity.
