Kristen Uno is an accomplished producer and writer whose filmography boasts premieres at esteemed film festivals such as the Cannes Film Festival, SXSW, and Tribeca. With a deep commitment to storytelling, she specializes in crafting narratives that bring attention to historically underrepresented or marginalized communities.
In 2018, she expertly handled line production for the film We the Coyotes, which made its debut at the 2018 Cannes Film Festival and went on to enjoy a successful nine-week theatrical run in France.
Uno also co-wrote and produced the feature film See You Then, which premiered at SXSW 2021 in the Narrative Spotlight Section and received distribution through Breaking Glass Entertainment.
In the past two years, she has produced two short films - Comfort, directed by Boma Iluma, and "Empty Bases," directed by Jalmer Caceres - both of which premiered at Tribeca in 2021 and 2022 through Indeed's Rising program. These films were executive produced by the acclaimed Lena Waithe.
Most recently, Uno brought her expertise to the production of Netflix's Taco Chronicles - Cross the Border, which premiered in November 2022.
