Kristen DeVore Rakes

Kristen Rakes embarked on her life's journey in the heartland of Oklahoma, spending the initial years of her life in the picturesque town of Guthrie. As her family's circumstances evolved, they relocated to Danville, Illinois, and subsequently to Peoria, where Kristen's formative years took shape. Demonstrating a keen interest in the performing arts from a tender age, she enthusiastically participated in school plays, honing her craft from elementary to high school, taking a brief hiatus to explore her passion for basketball. The family's nomadic nature continued, and Kristen found herself in New Mexico during her eighth-grade year. Following her high school graduation, she pursued higher education, initially enrolling as a business major, only to later shift her focus to filmmaking after two years of academic exploration. Upon earning a degree in Moving Image Arts, Kristen's talents were swiftly recognized, allowing her to transition into the art department's crew, capitalizing on New Mexico's burgeoning film industry's burgeoning opportunities.
