Kivanc Tatlitug was born on October 27, 1983, in Adana, Turkey, to a family with a rich cultural heritage. His mother hails from Edirne, Turkey, while his paternal grandmother is a Bosnian immigrant from Sarajevo, and his paternal grandfather is an Albanian immigrant from Pristina.
Tatlitug's professional career began with modeling in 2002, which led to his transition into acting. He made his television debut with the leading role in the TV series "Gumus" in 2005, which was the first Turkish TV series to be sold to the Middle East. This role catapulted him to fame, and he went on to appear in several other notable series and films, including "Menekse ile Halil," "Amerikalilar Karadeniz'de," "Ask-i Memnu," "Ezel," "Kuzey Guney," "Kelebegin Ruyasi," "Kurt Seyit ve Shura," "Cesur ve Guzel," "Hadi Be Oglum," and "Organize Isler Sazan Sarmali."
Throughout his acting career, Tatlitug has received numerous awards and accolades, including "Best Actor" awards at the 36th Golden Butterfly TV Awards, 17th Sadri Alisik Theatre and Cinema Awards, 39th Butterfly TV Awards, 18th Golden Lens Award, Siyad-Turkish Film Critics Association Best Actor Award, Creators of Their Own Miracles Award, and The Male Brand Award. He has also been recognized by universities, educational institutions, and public organizations for his outstanding performances.
In addition to his acting career, Tatlitug is also a devoted philanthropist and has been appointed as the youngest Unicef Goodwill Ambassador in the world. He continues to work tirelessly for children's causes and has been involved in various charity initiatives throughout his career.
