Kimberly A. Read, born with her maiden name, departed from a distinguished career in advertising in Ohio in the year 1995, driven by a fervent desire to craft and direct films. This aspiration was swiftly realized.
In 1996, she gained acceptance into the esteemed Warner Brother's Sitcom Writer's Workshop, although ultimately not hired, she opted to pursue producing as her chosen path.
Kimberly subsequently worked her way up the ranks as an unpaid intern in nearly every department, fortuitously crossing paths with and marrying her first husband, Fred Olen Ray, a renowned film director, in 1997.
Although their union came to an end with a divorce in 2017, they have maintained a close and amicable friendship, sharing two wonderful children together.
In 2019, Kim remarried Steven Scionti, a talented actor and former Broadway dancer, whom she was introduced to by her former husband.
Throughout her journey, Kimberly has demonstrated a profound passion for the film industry and intends to continue producing until the fulfillment of her cinematic aspirations.
