Kim Kold, a former Danish football goalkeeper, suffered a severe injury to his Achilles tendon in 1993 at the age of 27, forcing him to redirect his focus. During his rehabilitation training at the gym, he discovered an interest in bodybuilding and began competing in 1997. This newfound passion led to his victory in the Danish National Bodybuilding Championship in 2006.
Throughout his bodybuilding career, Kim also worked as a locksmith in Denmark for several years. Today, he is the proud owner of his own security business in Puerto Banus, Spain.
In 2007, his friend Mads Matthiesen persuaded Kim to take on the lead role in the short film "Dennis". Despite a lack of promotion, the film unexpectedly went viral, earning Kim a reputation as an amateur actor. His imposing physique, standing at 193 cm tall and weighing 140 kilograms, has become his most distinctive feature.
The collaborative work with Mads Matthiesen on "Dennis" ultimately led to the creation of the feature film "Teddy Bear" in 2012, which is based on the short film.
