With a diverse range of credits to her name, Kim has worked on various projects for renowned television networks including the BBC, Channel 4, Discovery, National Geographic, and Al Jazeera.
Her feature documentary credits include "Man In The Sand" (BBC2 prime-time),a music documentary that features an impressive lineup of artists such as Woody Guthrie, Natalie Merchant, Wilco, Billy Bragg, and Corey Harris.
Another notable feature documentary is "Wanted", a film that sheds light on the lives of Native American reservation cops. This project received funding from a range of prominent organizations, including WDR, A&E Television Network, UK Film Council, The Soros Documentary Fund, and the Yorkshire Media Production Agency.
"Wanted" premiered at several prestigious film festivals, including the Locarno International Film Festival, London Film Festival, and Viennale.
Kim's most recent feature documentary is "Hotel Folly" (IDFA, BBC Storyville),a thought-provoking film that explores the human cost of the banking crisis.
Throughout her career, Kim has received numerous awards and accolades for her outstanding work in documentary filmmaking.
In addition to her filmmaking credits, Kim is also a dedicated teacher and mentor. She has taught documentary film production at institutions such as the National Film & Television School, London Film School, and St Johns University.
Kim was also instrumental in setting up the documentary department at Escuela Internacional de Cine y Television de San Antonio, Cuba, further solidifying her reputation as a respected figure in the film industry.
