Kihachi Okamoto

Kihachi Okamoto, a renowned filmmaker, belonged to a generation of university graduates who were drafted into and sacrificed during the final years of Japan's war in the South Pacific, a period often referred to by one of his colleagues as "the generation where most of them got killed".
