Kiara Liz Ortega Delgado was born in the vibrant city of San Juan, Puerto Rico, to her loving parents, Beatrice Delgado and Faustino Ortega. As a young girl, Kiara's passion for acting was ignited at the tender age of 12, when she enrolled in the prestigious José Julián Acosta y Calvo specialized acting school in Old San Juan. For five years, she honed her craft, mastering the art of acting under the guidance of her instructors, until she was 17 years old.
Years later, at the age of 25, Kiara's hard work and dedication paid off when she was crowned Miss Universe Puerto Rico, an esteemed title that granted her the opportunity to represent her beloved island at the Miss Universe Pageant held in Thailand in 2018. Among the stunning 5 most beautiful women in the world, Kiara shone bright, showcasing her poise, confidence, and captivating charm.
After her reign as Miss Universe Puerto Rico came to an end in 2019, Kiara signed with One Management Modeling Agency in New York, where she worked as a model for several months, expanding her repertoire of skills and experiences. Eventually, she returned to her homeland, Puerto Rico, to make her stage debut in her first professional play, Cállate, a pivotal moment in her acting career.
In 2020, Kiara's talents were showcased on the reality television broadcast Mira Quien Baila (MQB) by Univisión, where she emerged victorious, claiming first place in the competition. Moreover, she debuted as a backstage host of the new reality show ¿Quien es la Máscara?, also broadcasted by Univision. Furthermore, in the same year, Kiara was cast in the Yale Productions movie "Panama", where she played a supporting role as Camila, solidifying her position as a multifaceted and talented performer.
