Biography

When Kevin Sullivan embarked on his wrestling career, he was instantly recognized as an aggressive and talented wrestler. During his time in the independent circuit, he was accompanied by his then real-life wife, Woman (Nancy Sullivan),and donned yellow tights and face paint.

He later joined the National Wrestling Alliance (NWA) in the mid-1980s, frequently switching between indie federations while maintaining a presence in the NWA. In the early 1990s, the NWA merged with the Ted Turner-based World Championship Wrestling (WCW),and Sullivan remained a part of the organization.

Throughout his career, Sullivan participated in numerous memorable matches. In 1994, following the conclusion of Hulk Hogan's feud with Ric Flair, Sullivan began a rivalry with the Hulkster, which significantly boosted his career. This feud with Hogan persisted until sometime in 1996.

Initially, Sullivan was joined by The Butcher (Ed Leslie, also known as Brutus Beefcake in the WWF),and Avalanche (John Tenta, also known as Earthquake in the WWF),forming a stable known as the Faces of Fear. The feud with Sullivan's stable and Hogan eventually came to an end in mid-1995 but resumed in the late summer.

It was later revealed that Sullivan was collaborating with the Giant and that Master Iaukea was supposedly his father. Sullivan adopted the moniker "The Taskmaster," and the new stable was dubbed the Dungeon of Doom. The group soon welcomed Kamala "The Ugandan Giant," The Shark (John Tenta),the Zodiac (Ed Leslie, also known as Brutus Beefcake),and Meng.

During the Halloween Havoc 1995 match, Sullivan and the Giant were joined by Jimmy Hart after Hart attacked Hogan. This marked the addition of Yeti (Ron Reis) to the massive group, although he vanished after that single appearance.

After numerous matches with Hogan, Sullivan and the Dungeon of Doom joined forces with Ric Flair and the Four Horsemen in early 1996. Over the course of the year, additional members joined Sullivan's stable, including The One Man Gang, Loch Ness (Giant Haystacks),Z Gangsta (Zues, Tom Lister Jr.),The Final Solution (the late Jeep Swenson),Konnan, Maxx Muscle, The Barbarian, The Leprechaun (Sgt. Buddy Lee Parker),Jackie (Jacqueline in the WWE),Hugh Morrus, Big Bubba Rogers (The Big Bossman),and the "Total Package" Lex Luger.

However, the Dungeon of Doom soon disbanded after Hogan joined the NWO, and Sullivan took a hiatus before returning a few years later as a commentator and manager, working alongside Mike Rotunda.
