Kevin Nations, an artist with a background in visual effects, has developed a profound understanding of filmmaking through a synthetic lens. He is driven to continually push the boundaries of his artistry with each new project, striving for excellence in every endeavor.
In the early stages of his career, Kevin collaborated with his wife, Robin Nations, producing a series of short films that ultimately revealed the perfect synergy between them. This partnership led to the creation of Kevin's breakout feature film, "The Water's Edge," which garnered widespread acclaim as the Best Independent Feature in the Brilliant Light International Film Festival of Los Angeles.
The award-winning momentum continued with their subsequent film, "Leftovers," which secured an Official Selection at the Los Angeles Women's International Film Festival in 2010. In 2011, Kevin produced "Angel Dog," a film that holds a special place in his heart due to its culmination of years of experience as a producer and artist. "Angel Dog" was an Official Selection and Finalist in the Family Film Festival of Los Angeles, and it was distributed domestically by Screen Media Films, with Fairway Film Alliance handling foreign territories.
Building on the family-friendly theme, Kevin and his wife Robin Nations co-produced and co-directed "My Dog The Champion," a family movie starring Lance Henriksen, Dora Madison Burge, and Cody Linley, which was released by Anchor Bay Entertainment in February 2014. Additionally, 2013 marked the release of the Nations' third family film, "The Adventures of Pepper and Paula."
