Ketan Mehta, a renowned filmmaker from India, has garnered widespread recognition and accolades for his impressive body of work, which includes notable films such as 'The Rising - Ballad of Mangal Pandey', 'Mirch Masala', 'Maya Memsaab', 'Sardar', 'Holi', and 'Bhavni Bhavai'.
Among his numerous awards, he received the Best Film on Human Rights for 'Bhavni Bhavai', the Best Film award for 'Mirch Masala' at the Hawaii International Film Festival, and the Audience Choice Award at Locarno for 'The Ballad of Mangal Pandey'.
Ketan Mehta's impressive career spans over 25 years, having graduated from India's premier film institute, the Film and Television Institute of India (FTII). Throughout his extensive experience in the film industry, he has showcased his films at various international film festivals and has served as a jury member at numerous prestigious events.
In addition to his accomplishments, Mehta has contributed to various government bodies, including Doordarshan, the Directorate of Film Festivals, and is currently a Member of the Board of Directors of the National Film Development Corporation of India (NFDC).
