Kessia Kordelle, the youngest and sole daughter of Chuck and Karen Randall, was raised on a global scale, traveling extensively with her brothers, actor Ethan Embry and recording artist Aaron Embry, to film locations around the world.
This unique upbringing provided Kessia with an unconventional yet enriching education in world cultures and geography, which she supplemented with independent study.
In addition to her formal education, Kessia also gained early experience in the film industry by playing small roles in some of her brother Ethan's films, including Empire Records (1995),A Far Off Place (1993),Season of Change (1994),and Dancer, Texas Pop. 81 (1998),in which she had a notable co-starring role.
Born in Los Angeles, Kessia's earliest experiences as a performer were as a ballet dancer at the age of 10 with the renowned Westside Ballet, a nationally recognized institution.
She has since honed her craft under the guidance of esteemed young actors' coaches, including Elli Maclure and Jamie Donnelly, in preparation for a career in acting.
Kessia's most recent appearance was in the 1999 MGM film Stigmata, starring Patricia Arquette and Gabriel Byrne, released in the fall of that year.
She also had a role in Oprah Winfrey's production of Beloved (1998).
In December 1999, Kessia became an aunt to her brother Ethan's son, Cogian Sky Embry, whose mother and wife are Amelinda Smith.
The previous summer, her oldest brother, Aaron Embry, also tied the knot.
