Kenny Keen, a multifaceted American artist, actor, writer, director, and producer from Virginia, has been involved in the world of performance since his childhood. His journey began with a first-place win in a third-grade talent show for a comedy duo skit, showcasing his early talent.
As he grew older, Kenny's focus shifted towards his passion for drawing and creating art. He channeled his creativity into writing and illustrating Indie comics, which eventually evolved into screenwriting for stories that were "too big for comics." Alongside his artistic pursuits, Kenny is also a trained martial artist and a former bouncer, known for his philosophy of taking "the nice approach, unless you really wanna go there."
Kenny's entry into filmmaking began in 2017, when he worked with various local independent filmmakers, taking on roles both in front of and behind the camera. This experience ignited a deep passion for storytelling through film, and since then, Kenny has been actively networking and collaborating on a diverse range of film projects.
His breakout role came as Titus in the award-winning film Freedom of North Carolina. In recent years, Kenny has produced several of his own projects, including Just My Luck, where he served as writer, director, and lead actor. Additionally, he has appeared in both mainstream and independent productions, including The Eyes of Tammy Faye, Revenge Best Served Chilled for the Lifetime channel, The Gospel of Ted, and Broken Church.
