Biography

Originally from Elmhurst, Illinois, a native son who would go on to make a lasting impact in the world of entertainment, Campbell embarked on his journey in the cinematic arts by attending film school at Columbia College in Chicago. It was during this time that he honed his skills and laid the foundation for a successful career in comedy, a path that would ultimately lead him to the prestigious improv-comedy theater, The Second City.

At The Second City, Campbell had the opportunity to work alongside some of the most talented comedic minds of his generation, including the likes of Steve Carell, Bob Odenkirk, and the late Chris Farley. This experience not only helped him refine his craft but also provided him with a platform to showcase his unique brand of humor to a wider audience.

Campbell's big break came in the form of a role in the beloved holiday classic, Home Alone, released in 1990. This film not only catapulted him to stardom but also opened the doors to a wide range of opportunities in the entertainment industry.

Following his success in Home Alone, Campbell landed a role on the Fox sitcom, Herman's Head, in 1991. This marked a significant milestone in his career, as it marked his transition from film to television and cemented his status as a rising star in the comedy world.

Over the course of his illustrious career, Campbell has appeared in a wide range of films, including Groundhog Day, Armageddon, and many other notable releases. He has also made numerous appearances on television, both in live-action and animated formats.
