Originally from Elmhurst, Illinois, a native son who would go on to make a lasting impact in the world of entertainment, Campbell embarked on his journey in the cinematic arts by attending film school at Columbia College in Chicago. At The Second City, Campbell had the opportunity to work alongside some of the most talented comedic minds of his generation, including the likes of Steve Carell, Bob Odenkirk, and the late Chris Farley. This experience not only helped him refine his craft but also provided him with a platform to showcase his unique brand of humor to a wider audience.
Campbell's big break came in the form of a role in the beloved holiday classic, Home Alone, released in 1990. This film not only catapulted him to stardom but also opened the doors to a wide range of opportunities in the entertainment industry.
