Phillips is a multi-award-winning screenwriter, director, and producer whose films have been showcased at numerous festivals and on prominent platforms such as HBO, Prime, Cinemax, Tubi, and BET. His exceptional creativity has garnered him grants from esteemed organizations, including the Jerome Foundation, Art Matters, Inc., the Brooklyn Arts and Cultural Association, and Apparatus Productions, co-founded by renowned figures Christine Vachon and Todd Haynes.
Kelvin's remarkable screenwriting skills have earned him numerous awards, including the Laurel Productions and the Herbert Beigel Screenwriting Awards. He is also a distinguished alumnus of the Guy Hanks/Marvin Miller Screenwriting Fellowship.
