Kelly's life began in Dayton, Ohio, where she first took her first breath. However, her early years were marked by a significant change, as her family, comprising her father David and mother Angie, relocated to a charming suburb of Akron, Ohio, when she was just a year old. This pivotal move would shape her formative years and have a lasting impact on her life.
Four years later, Kelly's family welcomed a new addition, her sister Annie, who would become her partner in crime and a lifelong companion. Growing up, the two sisters shared a love for music, often singing along with their father, who would strum his guitars and fill their home with sweet melodies. Their parents' influence encouraged a deep appreciation for the performing arts, and Kelly and Annie would spend hours memorizing the lyrics and musical numbers from their favorite musicals and Disney movies.
Kelly's high school years were marked by a series of outstanding achievements, as she consistently took on leading roles in school productions. This early success would lay the foundation for her future endeavors, as she went on to study Theatre: Acting and Directing at Bowling Green State University. After completing her degree, Kelly's passion for the performing arts continued to evolve, as she pursued a multifaceted career that has seen her perform on stage, lecture to high school students, choreograph, write and record her own music, and now, enter the world of film.
