Kelly, a talented actor, began his journey in Los Angeles in September 1982, signing with Wilhelmina West and securing his SAG card by starring in a Gillette commercial directed by renowned director Joe Pytka.
In the spring of 1992, Kelly had the privilege of meeting the legendary Mr. Sanford Meisner, which led to him becoming a Founding Member of the Sanford Meisner Center for the Arts in the spring of 1995. During his time at the center, he starred in over a dozen plays and wrote/directed several others from 1995 to 2005.
Kelly's impressive career continued with his lead role as "Bobby Fry" in Lynn Mamet's world premiere of "The Job", as well as his portrayal of Charles Lindbergh in Larry Cohen's world premiere of "Fallen Eagle", which he co-developed with Oscar-nominated writer Oliver Stone.
In 2024, Kelly wrapped up his role as a detective from the Deep South in the film "Ruthless", directed by Dale Stelly. A devoted husband and father of three, Kelly enjoys his Sunday nights singing karaoke and sharing his passion for acting with his online community through his social media platforms @meisneractor on Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, BlueSky, and TikTok.
