Biography

Kayla Alpert is a renowned film editor, whose impressive portfolio includes a wide range of critically acclaimed and commercially successful projects.

In the late 1990s, Alpert gained recognition for her work on the critically acclaimed psychological thriller "Pi" (1998),directed by Darren Aronofsky and starring Sean Gullette and Mark Margolis.

Fast forward to the present day, Alpert's recent endeavors have seen her collaborate with Tim Burton on the 2022 dark comedy-horror film "Wednesday", starring Jenna Ortega and Gwendoline Christie.

Before that, in 2009, Alpert brought her expertise to the romantic comedy "Confessions of a Shopaholic", directed by P.J. Hogan and starring Isla Fisher and Hugh Dancy.
