Katie O'Hagan, a native of Illinois, was born as the third of six siblings. Her upbringing took place in the charming town of Crystal Lake, where she developed a strong foundation for her future endeavors.
Upon completing her sophomore year at Northern Illinois University, Katie auditioned for the entertainment department's college program internship at Walt Disney World in Florida. This decision marked the beginning of her two-year stint as a character actress, where she worked in both Florida and Japan.
After two years of character acting, Katie returned to the United States in 2003 and enrolled at Marist College in Poughkeepsie, New York, to pursue her degree in Communications. At Marist, Katie's acting talent earned her numerous recognitions, as she took on principle roles in several Marist College Council on Theatre Arts (MCCTA) productions.
These productions included Claire in "Proof" and Columbia in "The Rocky Horror Show." In January 2005, Katie was nominated and attended the prestigious American College Theatre Festival (ACTF) competition, recognizing the best college actors.
In the summer of 2005, Katie was cast as the lead in an independent feature film, "RiffRaff," which was filmed in Chicago. This significant role showcased her versatility as an actress and her ability to take on challenging projects.
