Kati Schwartz is a renowned playwright, actor of stage and screen, and internet personality, whose impressive body of work has been showcased across the country at prestigious venues such as the Williamstown Theatre Festival, The Hollywood Fringe Festival, Ugly Rhino Theatre Company, and Next Stage Arts Project.
Her notable performances include her critically acclaimed leading role as the maniacal teenager Gillian Ravenscroft in Don Nigro's Ravenscroft at the Westchester Playhouse in Los Angeles in 2015, as well as her portrayal of Jean in The Fulton Theatre production of August: Osage County, directed by Marc Robin.
In addition to her stage work, Kati has also had a successful career in film, starring as Jeannie in Hair in New York City and costarring as Jeanne in Dan Sallitt's independent feature film, The Unspeakable Act, which premiered at the 2012 Sarasota Film Festival and went on to screen at the Edinburgh International Film Festival, the International Film Festival Rotterdam, and a one-week run at Anthology Film Archives in New York City.
Kati has also had the opportunity to work with esteemed directors and actors, including a production of Robin Hood at the 2014 Williamstown Theatre Festival, where she also staged the first reading of her original play, The Coward. The Coward went on to enjoy a sold-out run in New York City under the direction of Alex Keegan, and was also directed by Eric Hoff in a staged reading in Los Angeles in 2015.
In addition to her acting and writing pursuits, Kati has also honed her skills through extensive training, studying acting with stage veteran Karla Baldwin, Shakespeare and heightened text with Patsy Rodenberg of the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London, and clowning with Christopher Bayes and Virginia Scott. She has also completed the advanced study program at Upright Citizens Brigade, where she discovered her love of writing.
Furthermore, Kati has also gained experience in the digital realm, serving as a frequent co-host on the popular YouTube channel Commander Holly from 2015-2016, and working both in front of the camera and behind the scenes on the wildly popular Ninja Sex Party videos, which have an average of 3 million views each.
