Kathy Evison's paternal occupation with the National Park Service led to a nomadic lifestyle for her family, with a total of twenty relocations across various national parks before she turned eighteen. These moves took them to iconic destinations such as the Grand Canyon, Sequoia, and her personal favorite, the Grand Tetons.
To finance her college education, Kathy pursued a lucrative career in modeling, gracing the covers of prominent magazines like Shape, Self, and Seventeen. She also appeared in numerous television commercials globally, further solidifying her financial foundation.
Upon graduating cum laude from the University of California at Davis with a degree in rhetoric, Kathy surprisingly opted to shift her focus to acting. Her early roles included appearances in two Spelling productions, The Heights (1992) and Beverly Hills, 90210 (1990),before landing a recurring part in SeaQuest 2032 (1993).
