Kate's journey in the entertainment industry began at the tender age of eleven, when she landed the role of "Emily" in the cult classic film 3 Ninjas, masterfully directed by Jon Turteltaub. Following this early success, Kate continued to appear in a multitude of films, television shows, and commercials, demonstrating her versatility and range as a performer.
As she transitioned into adulthood, Kate pursued higher education, enrolling at the University of California, Berkeley, where she graduated Phi Beta Kappa with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and Dramatic Arts. Her academic achievements were merely a precursor to her next milestone, as she ventured to London to earn her master's degree in Text and Performance Studies from the esteemed Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts.
During her time in London, Kate had the opportunity to showcase her creative talents by writing, directing, and producing her original play, Revolving Door. This innovative production received widespread acclaim during its three-week run in London, and Kate's passion for storytelling was further fueled by its success. Undeterred by distance, Kate took her production on a global tour, performing at the prestigious Edinburgh Festival Fringe, where it garnered rave reviews from critics and audiences alike.
Upon her return to the United States, Kate continued to hone her skills, taking on staff roles on several notable television shows, including CASTLE, CSI CYBER, NCIS NOLA, and BLINDSPOT. In addition to her work in television, Kate has also had the opportunity to write, direct, and produce a trio of short films: CHANGING LANES, FACING LIFE, and ANOTHER FOREIGN CONCEPT. These projects allowed Kate to explore new themes and genres, further solidifying her reputation as a multifaceted and innovative filmmaker.
In her latest venture, Kate launched an original comedic web series, YOU CAN'T DO THAT ON THE INTERNET, which she wrote, directed, and produced.
