Kate Hackett, ACE, is a renowned and accomplished editor, having won prestigious awards such as the Emmy and ACE Eddie Awards.
Her most recent work includes the documentary SALLY, which tells the remarkable story of astronaut Dr. Sally Ride, directed by Cristina Costantini. This highly anticipated documentary is set to premiere at the 2025 Sundance Film Festival.
In addition to her work on SALLY, Kate has also been involved in other notable projects, including the A24/Netflix release Open Wide, the critically acclaimed Netflix series Cheer and Last Chance U, and the Sundance/SXSW Feature Documentary Half The Picture.
Kate's impressive credentials also include being the 2018 Sundance Institute Sally Menke Editing Fellow.
