Throughout her life, Kate has been driven by an insatiable curiosity and passion for culture and the arts. Born to a poet and a former priest, she grew up on a thoroughbred race horse and organic asparagus farm, where she developed a strong foundation in equestrian training, acting, dancing, singing, and language study. As a child, Kate's boundless energy and enthusiasm led her to pursue a variety of interests, including classical ballet, which she trained intensively in and performed throughout high school as a corps member of the Ann Arbor Civic Ballet Company.
After living abroad and studying in Europe and Scandinavia, Kate enrolled in The George Washington University's Women in the Arts program, where she earned her liberal arts degree with a concentration in Italian. This educational journey was made possible by a Women in Power Scholarship.
