Biography

Katarina Morhacova is a renowned and multifaceted individual, boasting an impressive array of talents and accomplishments in the realms of stage and screen acting, writing, producing, and philanthropy.

Born in the former Czechoslovakia, Katarina now resides in both Los Angeles and New York City, fluently speaking six languages: English, French, Italian, Russian, Czech, and Slovak.

As a stage and screen actress, Katarina has received numerous accolades for her performances, including 16 awards for her role in the short film Rendez-Vous for Best Actress.

Her extensive film and television credits include appearances in Amazon's Big Dogs, Tubi, Lincoln Rhyme (NBC),The Knick (Cinemax),directed by Steven Soderbergh, starring opposite Clive Owen, Madam Secretary (CBS),Bull (NBC),The Blacklist (NBC),Signs (Canal Plus),and a bilingual lead role in the feature film The Journey of a Dragonfly, directed by Claudia LaBianca, as well as a finalist in Steven Spielberg's "On the Lot", and Married Young (Amazon Studios).

Katarina's theatrical endeavors have taken her to Off-Broadway in New York City, American repertory theaters, the UK, Italy, the Czech Republic, and Russia, where she has performed in multiple languages, including Italian, French, and Russian.

Her critically acclaimed one-woman show, The Gilded Red Cage, premiered at the Edinburgh Theater Festival, and she later returned to Edinburgh with a new play, Adele's Heart, which garnered significant recognition from UK critics and media.

In addition to her acting credits, Katarina has also written, acted in, and co-produced several shorts and one feature film, The Journey of a Dragonfly. She is currently developing two TV shows and a feature film.

Furthermore, Katarina uses her skills and privilege to raise awareness about social issues, with a focus on empowering young girls and women. She is a board member of the non-profit organization Plus 421 Foundation.
