Biography

Born into a family with a rich musical heritage, the offspring of renowned conductor Karl Böhm embarked upon a theatrical career that would ultimately span multiple mediums and continents.

His early forays into the world of acting took place on the stages of Germany, where he honed his craft and laid the foundation for a career that would span several decades.

While his European roots may forever be tied to his iconic role in the Sissi (1955) series, he later went on to star in a diverse array of films under the guidance of the visionary cult director Rainer Werner Fassbinder.

However, it was not until 1981 that his focus shifted towards a different kind of performance, one that would involve using his talents to make a positive impact on the world. From that point forward, he dedicated himself exclusively to charitable work in Ethiopia, using his platform to bring hope and assistance to those in need.
